TAMPA, FLORIDA – Florida Tech men’s soccer got back to its winning ways as the Panthers went on the road and took down Tampa, 3-0.

Ellis Hudson tallied two goals in the victory for his first multi-goal performance. Aiden Bauer got scored the other goal for the Panthers, his first goal in a Crimson and Gray uniform.

Jason Fesquet added another shutout to his impressive season total as he made four stops in his 90 minutes of actions.

The Panthers came out the gate as the aggressors and almost scored only 12 minutes in as Guillermo Segovia hit the crossbar. Five minutes later, Tech did find the back of the net as Luca Campanini set up Hudson’s first goal of the night.

Florida Tech doubled up in the 32nd minute as Bauer converted a diving header. The Panthers advantage stayed at 2-0 as the first half expired.

It was a little more of a back-and-forth affair in the second half but the Panthers were the only team to convert one of their chances into a goal as Craig McCall set up Hudson for his second of the night.

This was the final tally of the contest as the men cruised to a 3-0 victory.

Florida Tech looks to hold on to the second spot in the Sunshine State Conference standings and earn that all-important first-round bye in the SSC Tournament when they invite conference leader Lynn to Rick Stottler Field for the regular-season finale and Senior Night Game.

This match takes place on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at 7 p.m.
