Florida Highway Patrol has released the identities of a husband and wife killed in a Sunday crash on US-1 and Mirkwood St.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol has released the identities of a husband and wife killed in a Sunday crash on US-1 and Mirkwood St.

The victims are 72-year-old Moheidin Hanafi and 59-year-old Sahar Hanafi from St. Cloud.

According to Lt. Montes, the trike motorcycle was traveling northbound on U.S. 1 For an unknown reason, the driver lost control and the motorcycle left the roadway, overturned and ejected both the driver and passenger.

The crash happened around 4:50 p.m.

Neither victim was wearing a helmet.
