Downtown Art Gallery in Titusville Selects Jim Boland as January Spotlight Artist

Boland's wildlife photography will be on display

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – The Downtown Art Gallery in historic downtown Titusville has chosen Jim Boland as its January Spotlight Artist.
An exhibit of his wildlife photography will be on display all month at this fine art gallery featuring local artists.
Boland is a long-time resident of Titusville. His passion for bird photography was sparked 15 years ago when some ducks visited a nearby stormwater retention pond.
He is retired from the aerospace industry having worked over 30 years on the Space Shuttle and Space Station programs. He is also retired from the U.S. Air Force Reserves.
Most of Boland’s wildlife photography is done in close proximity to Titusville. His mission is to “bring the outdoors in.” He has won numerous awards for his photography and has been published in several publications.
Boland is a volunteer for the Space Coast Birding and Wildlife Festival held in January of each year. He has been a resident artist at The Downtown Gallery since 2011.
