WATCH: Boeing Orbital Flight Test Launches From Cape Canaveral Friday Morning

BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – Teams from NASA, Boeing and United Launch Alliance had a successful launch Friday morning for the Orbital Flight Test mission to the International Space Station for NASA’s Commercial Crew Program.

The rocket launch lifted off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station’s Space Launch Complex 41 at 6:36 p.m.

Despite launching successfully Friday on the United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket from Space Launch Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida, Boeing’s CST-100 Starliner is not in its planned orbit.

The spacecraft currently is in a stable configuration while flight controllers are troubleshooting.
