SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket Scheduled To Launch From Cape Canaveral Monday Night, December 16

SpaceX is scheduled to launch a Falcon 9 rocket (JCSAT 18/Kacific 1) from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station next Monday, December 16. (SpaceX Image)

BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX is scheduled to launch a Falcon 9 rocket (JCSAT 18/Kacific 1) from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station next Monday, December 16.

Launch window is slated to open at at 7:10 p.m. and will extend to 8:38 p.m., if necessary.

The rocket will be carrying the JCSAT 18/Kacific 1 communications satellite which is owned by SKY Perfect JSAT Corp. and Kacific Broadband Satellites of Singapore.

The satellite will provide mobile and broadband services across the Asia-Pacific region.

Following liftoff, the Falcon 9 rocket booster engine will attempt to land on drone ship ‘Of Course I Still I Love You’ located in the Atlantic off the Florida Space Coast.
