BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Nancy McDaniel, a 63 year resident of Merritt Island, passed away December 23, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard McDaniel, and survived by her 7 children- Barbara (Clint) Bennett, Paul (Kim) McDaniel, Leon McDaniel, Greg (Susan McDaniel, Brenda (Don) Patterson, Timothy (Connie) McDaniel, Mark (Linda) McDaniel, 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
A member of First Baptist Church Merritt Island for over 57 years, Nancy could often be found praying, reading her Bible, or singing hymns.
After raising her children and owning and managing homes for the elderly, she turned to volunteering with HabitFor Humanity, House Of Hope, and our Church missions group.
She was always busy helping someone, but never forgot to make time for family. In her spare time, she enjoyed walking on the beach or working in her garden.
Graveside service will be January 4 at 3 p.m. at Brevard Memorial Cemetery, Cocoa, FL with memorial service to follow at FBMI at 4 p.m.
