Open House Set Jan. 7 to Discuss New Traffic Light at Eau Gallie Boulevard and Turtle Mound Road

FDOT Meeting set at the Discover Life Church, located at 3550 W. Eau Gallie Boulevard

The Florida Department of Transportation of Central Florida will hold a public meeting open house to discuss plans to install a new traffic signal at the intersection of Eau Gallie Boulevard and Turtle Mound Road in Melbourne.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Florida Department of Transportation of Central Florida will hold a public meeting open house to discuss plans to install a new traffic signal at the intersection of Eau Gallie Boulevard and Turtle Mound Road in Melbourne.

The open house will be held on January 7 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Discover Life Church, located at 3550 W. Eau Gallie Boulevard.

Attendees may come any time during those hours to review project displays and to hold one-on-one conversations with the FDOT project team.

In addition to the signal, this project also includes the extension of the right and left-turn lanes onto Turtle Mound Road, along with the addition of high visibility crosswalk markings, pedestrian signals and lighting.
