Health First facilities and medical professionals are on the front lines in the fight against COVID-19

WATCH: Space Coast Mom Life organized a car parade to show the community’s appreciation for associates at Health First’s Holmes Regional Medical Center during the COVID-19 public health crisis.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Space Coast Mom Life organized a car parade to show the community’s appreciation for associates at Health First’s Holmes Regional Medical Center during the COVID-19 public health crisis.

“We are coming together as a community to show our support for out healthcare workers, our frontline workers like our emergency personnel and maybe bring a little bit of joy to people in a time when we need it the most,” said organizer Jessica Strong.

Health First facilities and medical professionals are on the front lines in the fight against COVID-19.

“Everybody coming out and showing support tonight gives you a little inspiration that you are making a difference, and people do take notice – we definitely appreciate our community,” said Health First’s Holmes Regional Medical Center Nurse Mark Earle.

Health First President & CEO Steve Johnson updated the Space Coast community regarding the preparedness of Health First’s medical professionals to respond to COVID-19.

“For more than eight decades, Brevard County has entrusted its local heroes to help them in their time of need,” said Johnson.

“These selfless individuals have answered a sacred call and committed their lives to be there for others during the darkest of hours.

“Physicians, nurses and all who dedicate themselves to healthcare know it is their solemn responsibility to be the comforting hand and calm reassurance when the chaos of the world impacts our lives.

“Brevard should be confident that, together, we are prepared to win this fight. We will beat this, and we are united – because We are Brevard.”
