WEATHER OUTLOOK: Brevard’s Forecast Tuesday Calls For Chance of Showers, High Near 93, Low Around 71

Tuesday night: slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 p.m

Another hot afternoon is on tap with high temperatures 90-95 degrees, with max heat indices in the upper 90s to around 100. A few strong afternoon storms are possible, especially northwest of I-4. The Fire Weather Danger will be elevated again and the threat for dangerous rip currents remains moderate.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Another hot afternoon is on tap with high temperatures 90-95 degrees, with max heat indices in the upper 90s to around 100.

A few strong afternoon storms are possible, especially northwest of Interstate-4. The

Fire Weather Danger will be elevated again and the threat for dangerous rip currents remains moderate.

The National Weather Service in Melbourne forecast for Brevard County on Tuesday calls for a 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 5 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 93.

The forecast also calls for South wind 5 to 15 mph.

On Tuesday night, a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 p.m, then a slight chance of showers between 8 p.m and 11 p.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 71. South southwest wind 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Wednesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 91. South southwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Wednesday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 67. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable after midnight.

Thursday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 79. North northeast wind 5 to 10 mph. The chance of precipitation is 60%.

Thursday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 67. Northeast wind around 5 mph.

Friday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 84. East southeast wind around 5 mph.
