City of Cocoa Will Begin Phased Approach to Re-Open Facilities and City Hall May 4

City of Cocoa facilities will be open to the public by appointment only for essential services
BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – In response to Governor Ron DeSantis’ Recovery Plan for Florida, the City of Cocoa will begin a phased approach to re-open City facilities including City Hall.
Beginning Monday, May 4, the City of Cocoa facilities will be open to the public by appointment only for essential services. This will remain in effect for approximately two weeks.
“We will continue to offer all City services as we have been throughout this COVID-19 pandemic,” said City of Cocoa spokesperson Samantha Senger.

Cocoa’s park facilities, including restrooms and playground equipment, will also begin to re-open on Monday, May 4.
Public meetings will continue virtually for the time being. Citizens and Cocoa business owners are still able to participate in Cocoa’s public meetings by visiting the City of Cocoa agenda portal on our website, www.CocoaFL.org and clicking on the eComment feature on our agendas or by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org
All public meetings are streamed live both on our website and via the City of Cocoa’s YouTube Channel.
“The City of Cocoa has coordinated a group of business owners from various industry sectors to solicit information about the economic recovery efforts of businesses in the Cocoa community,” said Senger.
:This group will meet to discuss COVID-19 impacts to businesses and help revive Cocoa’s economy as Florida plans a phased approach to re-opening. The group will provide information related to their business needs as the City works to develop an economic recovery plan.”
