Top Games to Look Forward to Summer 2020

Some of the biggest names in the video game industry are set to come out in the summer of 2020. Though there may be a few delays here and there, all of us gamers are absolutely buzzing with excitement about getting our hands on these top titles.
• Marvel’s Avengers
Marvel has made a massive franchise for itself that we all seem to be caught up in one way or another. With so many heroes, so many stories, it is about time that Marvel expanded its medium properly.
Coming out on September 4th this year, you will be able to play as some of the biggest names in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
It is an official tie-in well, so what happens in the games’ storyline is part of the universe’s overall storyline, though it does stand-alone, so you don’t have to be caught up with everything Marvel to enjoy it (and vice versa).
• Last of Us 2
Last of Us was one of the biggest successes in storytelling, never mind what it did for the post-apocalypse genre. Its sequel has been highly anticipated and will follow an older Ellie in her quest for revenge. Her surrogate father and previous protagonist of Last of Us, Joel, will also make an appearance.
From the same makers as the previous Last of Us, we can be sure to experience the same gut-punch writing and edge-of-your-seat gameplay. So long as there are not any last-minute hiccups, Last of Us 2 will be released on May 29th, 2020.
• Aztec Spins
Moving away from consoles, we have Aztec Spins, the new slots game set to release in May 2020. Taking a much-beloved theme and using a mixture of features including R7 and Red Tiger, this game is set to make an impression.

With so many hot titles coming out this summer, it can be hard to wait, but we all do need to be patient with developers who are very likely working from home. Any delays are worth the wait if it means a perfect game and a compelling story to get sucked into.
