BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – Port Canaveral announced last week that Cruise Terminal 3, the largest project in the Port’s history, is substantially complete.

The Cruise Terminal 3 construction is the largest single project in the history of Port Canaveral at $163 million.

There was an immediate need to put Cruise Terminal 3 berth into use after all cruise sailings were suspended due to COVID-19.

“We had to get over 1,300 feet of security fencing installed in order to secure any ship that would berth at the terminal,” said Port Canaveral spokesman Steve Linden.

“Work was completed in record time in order to accommodate more cruise ships after the suspension.”
