TRAUMA ALERTS ISSUED: Multi Tractor-Trailer Crash Shuts Down NB I-95 in North Brevard County

FLORIDA HIGHWAY PATROL: crash involves three semi-trucks, including a tanker
BREVARD COUNTY • SCOTTSMOOR, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol Troopers and Brevard County Fire Rescue units are on the scene of a multi-vehicle crash in the northbound lanes of Interstate 95 at Mile Marker 229, just before County Road 5A in North Brevard County.
Two Trauma Alerts have been issued and rescue crews are working to free an entrapped victim.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the crash involves three semi-trucks, including a tanker, and northbound I-95 will be blocked for a significant time for the cleanup.
It is recommended to use U.S. Highway 1 as an alternate route.
The circumstances of the crash has not yet been reported.
