ORLANDO, FLORIDA – Three members of the UCF football team were named to Phil Steele’s 2020 Preseason All-American Teams on Tuesday.

UCF was represented on the offensive, defensive, and special teams All-America lists. Cole Schneider was tabbed as a third-team offensive lineman.

Otis Anderson earned third-team honors as a punt returner and Aaron Robinson was named to the fourth team as a cornerback.

Schneider is a two-time all-conference honoree, earning a first-team nod in 2018 and second-team honors last year as a sophomore.

He has been a staple on the UCF line the last two seasons, helping the Knights offense to rank among the nation’s leaders.

Anderson had 21 punt returns for 277 yards, including an 87-yard touchdown last season and was named first-team all-conference as a punt returner by Pro Football Focus.

Robinson, who was named an honorable mention All-American by Pro Football Focus in 2019, registered 54 total tackles to go with 5.5 tackles for loss, three interceptions, one hurry, and a forced fumble.

A second-team all-conference selection last season, he was second on the team with 10 passes broken up.

Schneider and Anderson were also tabbed as first-team all-conference selections by Athlon Sports in June, while Robinson was a second-team honoree.

UCF’s three nods were the most of any American Athletic Conference team.
