BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Space Coast Daily’s TGIF Show is back for another week, the only show on the Space Coast that highlights upcoming events and entertainment for the weekend and upcoming week.
Obloy Family Ranch
ABOVE VIDEO: Obloy Family Ranch.
Obloy Family Ranch is located on a historic property in Merritt Island, Florida.
The property dates back to the 1890s when it operated as a navel orange grove and later transitioned to become one of Florida’s first gator ranches.
In 2015, the Obloy family purchased the ranch and helped transform the property into a wildlife sanctuary and farm, adding horseback riding trails, restoring and restocking freshwater ponds, and adding a new event venue, the Barn Stall Winery & Wedding Barn.
LEARN ABOUT WILDLIFE CONSERVATION
We focus on wildlife preservation and value education on conservation, culture, and history.
The gator pens remain so we can educate our visitors on the aquaculture that takes place in this region & through our efforts, the old gator ranch located here has become a wildlife sanctuary.
ENJOY RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
Enjoy our wide variety of recreational activities that includes checking out the ranch’s original fish farm. In our country store, guests can purchase fresh fish from our ponds and eggs from our chickens!

MEET OUR FAMILY- THE RESCUE ANIMALS
We love our animals! They are the best, friendliest and the most unique bunch of furry, scaly, and feathery friends we could ask for. Through a lot of tender-loving care given to these animals, they are healthy and capable of giving love while living a stress-free life on the ranch.
Bring the whole family out and meet them yourselves!
Along with our petting farm, wildlife sanctuary, and adventures, we also offer accommodations in our Private Cabins as well as a new 3000 sq. ft. wooden barn, the Barn Stall Winery & Wedding Barn.

SPACE COAST SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
Space Coast Symphony Orchestra’s new show ‘Sweet Land of Liberty’ is set for Saturday, August 15, at the The Avenue Viera, located at 2261 Town Center Ave. in Melbourne.
The show features and honors all those who have worn our nation’s uniform as well as our Space Coast defense workers.
The show is set to begin at 7 p.m.
This patriotic program will showcase our national heritage, as conductor Aaron T. Collins directs the wind orchestra with music by Lee Greenwood, Richard Rodgers, Morton Gould, Adam Gorb, Eric Whitacre, and marches from “The March King,” John Philip Sousa.
“This season represents what makes your SCSO a unique force in our community: our tradition of innovative programming, high-quality dynamic symphonic performances, active community engagement, dedication to new music, and commitment to arts education,” said Conductor and Artistic Director Aaron Collins.
Under the vision and leadership of Collins, your Space Coast Symphony Orchestra reflects all that makes Central Florida special: its creativity, spirit, beauty and quest for knowledge.
The SCSO is a major player on our cultural landscape with a unique mission to make professional classical music affordable and accessible to people of all ages. Thus, in an economic environment where many orchestras would fail, we are able to tell the SCSO success story.
While providing more concerts than any other musical organization in Florida, the SCSO has launched bold initiatives and innovative programming that have gained national attention.
The Space Coast Symphony Orchestra is reinventing the concept of a 21st-century orchestra by presenting the widest array of programming of any orchestra in Florida.
Their focus is on creating programming that is balanced, accessible, innovative, and artistically expansive. Successfully growing our audience begins with what we bring to the stage, and continues with the ability to market and promote the Space and Treasure Coasts as cultural destinations.
In any SCSO season, the audience can expect the best of what makes the SCSO a unique force in our community: the organization’s tradition of innovative programming, high-quality dynamic symphonic performances, active community engagement and commitment to arts education.
