Launch is targeted for 9:43 p.m. ET

BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX is set to launch a Falcon 9 rocket carrying the GPS 3 satellite from Cape Canaveral Friday Night.

Launch window opens at 9:43 p.m. ET.

The Falcon 9 rocket will carry the U.S. Air Force’s fourth third-generation navigation satellite for the Global Positioning System (GPS 3).

Following first-stage separation, SpaceX will attempt to recover the rocket booster engine shortly after liftoff.
