BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – This mother and son dynamic duo, Eva and Brian Evans, have been Palm Bay VCOPs since January 2020 after retirement brought them to Florida to live closer to the family.

The Evan’s were very involved in their local schools in California as Eva was a teacher and assistant principal and Brian was a volunteer and baseball coach.

After starting at the front desk, Eva moved up to be the VCOP Administrator which includes the orientation of all new VCOPs and Brian now goes out on patrol as well.

They also share a love of travel and baseball they have journeyed all around the country to visit major league stadiums. With only a few left to see, they’re planning another adventure in 2021.

They both enjoy meeting new people and making a difference where they can.

If you would like to become a VCOP like Eva or Brian, send an email to VCOP@palmbayflorida.org or call 321-953-8987.
