Melbourne Police, SWAT Team Recovers Vast Amounts of Ammunition, Illegal Drugs During Search Warrant

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police and SWAT team members recovered numerous illegal drugs and a vast amount of weapons and ammunition during a search warrant that was carried on the 3400 block of Saxson Street on Wednesday.

Police say a search warrant was obtained in reference to continuous on-going open air sale of illegal drugs at the location.

During the search warrant, authorities made multiple arrests after recovering 53 grams of Cannabis, 20 grams of Cocaine, 2 grams of Fentanyl, 70 grams of Amphetamine pills were seized along with FNS 9mm pistol, SCCY 9mm pistol, multiple Ak-47 magazines and ammunition.

Melbourne Police are still conducting an ongoing investigation.
