Melbourne Police Arrest Three Suspects After Authorities Find Illegal Drugs Inside Home During Search Warrant

Melbourne Police arrested Jamie Lynn Key, Frederick Monroe and Alexzander Luis Maldonado on Wednesday during a search warrant for illegal drug activity on the 1800 block of Pine Street in south Melbourne.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police arrested three people on Wednesday during a search warrant for illegal drug activity on the 1800 block of Pine Street in south Melbourne.

After police conducted their first search warrant on Friday, January 22, authorities confiscated 4.2 grams of methamphetamine during the seizure, along with numerous drug paraphernalia items and live ammunition. Four people were arrested as a result of the initial search warrant.

Then on Wednesday, a second search warrant was carried out by the Melbourne Police Department and the SWAT team at the residence where numerous people were located inside.

Once the residence was made secure by the SWAT team, detectives entered the residence and conducted a search for illegal drugs, which resulted in 2 grams of methamphetamine and 6.5 grams of cocaine, along with numerous drug paraphernalia items.

Two people were arrested at the home and a third person known to frequent the house was arrested for a felony warrant in reference to the sale of fentanyl.

Police arrested the following suspects below:

– Jamie Lynn Key, 37, charged with Possession Of Methamphetamine

– Frederick Monroe, 52, charged with Felony Battery

– Alexzander Luis Maldonado, 30, charged with Felony Warrant for Sale of Fentanyl, Possession of Fentanyl w/ intent to sell, Possession of Fentanyl
