BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – USSSA has partnered with cloud-based software company GotSport to deliver better management tools for athletes, coaches, and league organizations.

The deal takes GotSports’ software platform and brings advanced analytics, scheduling, registration, and data tracking to members all across the United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA).

“At USSSA, we’ve concentrated on growing our organization and delivering an outstanding sports experience to every single one of our members,” said USSSA CEO Donny DeDonatis III.

“With the GotSport partnership, USSSA directors, coaches, and athletes will be able to enjoy a seamless experience as they set up schedules, communicate with one another, and plan their time both on and off the field.”

USSSA selected GotSport as its partner because of the company’s track record for delivering powerful capabilities to operations and registration.

The sophisticated software platform’s ability to drastically reduce friction during communications across club teams and organizations was also a deciding factor.

“When we explored the GotSport platform, we found that it delivered the perfect blend of flexibility and features,” explained DeDonatis. “It’s the right fit for where we are now as an organization and ultimately where we’re looking to go in the future.”

Leaders at the two Florida-based family-led companies have a similar outlook on growth and undying love for the game.

While USSSA spent the last several years building its membership through grassroots efforts and word-of-mouth, GotSport has been creating an AI-based analytics and planning platform that is practically tailor-made for multi-sport associations like USSSA.

“With millions of members participating in events across 47 states, logistics and planning can be a huge challenge for organizations like USSSA,” said Gavin Owen-Thomas, CEO and founder of GotSport.

“Fortunately, our team has experience creating software solutions for the likes of the NBA, Disney, and MLB, so we’re uniquely positioned to build a best-in-class operation for USSSA.”

USSSA plans to roll out GotSport’s custom tools and technology to its membership by the close of 2021.
