BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA –Rick Mueller Passed Away on April 3, 2026. He was born on November 21, 1968, in Miami, Florida.
Rick was a beloved son, father, grandfather, and friend. He was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher, and his father, Robert.
He is survived by his mother, Johnnie Mueller; his three sons, Christopher (Sarah), Richard, and Brock Mueller; and his three cherished grandchildren, Bryce, Devin, and Avarie, lovingly known as “Sweet Pea.”
Richard graduated from Rockledge High School in Florida in 1987 and spent most of his life in Brevard County.
He dedicated 38 years of his career to the firearms industry, working as a gunsmith and supervisor at Kel-Tec in Cocoa, Florida.
His skill, precision, and dedication reflected the kind of man he was—hardworking, dependable, and proud of what he built with his own hands.
Known for his kind heart, Richard was a “big teddy bear” who loved telling jokes and making others smile.
He was an avid outdoorsman who cherished more than anything spending time with family. Hunting together wasn’t just a hobby—it was where memories were made, lessons were passed down, and a bond was built that will last forever.
He especially enjoyed time at his hunting lease with his family and making special trips to a Texas ranch to fulfill his dream hunts.
Rick was a funny, stubborn, and tough man—someone who stood his ground, spoke his mind, and could always find a way to make you laugh when you needed it most.
His strength wasn’t just in who he was, but in how he showed up for the people he loved.
Though he is no longer with us, his spirit remains—in every shared story, every laugh, and every quiet moment that reminds us of him. He is deeply missed, forever loved, and will never be forgotten.
