Weather Conditions 90-Percent Favorable on Wednesday for SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket Launch at Cape Canaveral

BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – The latest weather report by the 45th Weather Squadron shows conditions are 90-percent favorable for Wednesday’s SpaceX rocket launch from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

Launch is targeted for 4:58 a.m. ET.

The primary concern regarding the weather forecast is potential high wind speeds around liftoff and heavy clouds in the area.

The Starlink mission will carry around 60 satellites for Starlink broadband network.

Following first stage separation, SpaceX will attempt to recover the booster engine on drone ship “Just Read The Instructions” stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
