Eastern Florida State Baseball Lose Final Regular Season Game 8-2 Against Palm Beach State College

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College baseball team lost its final game of the regular season Saturday at Palm Beach State College.

A big third inning for the Panthers gave them the 8-2 win as well as the series.

Catcher Kyle Dentmon drove in both runs for the Titans and Kaeber Rog finished with three hits. Garrett Evans had two hits and scored both runs in the loss.

Darien Smith took the loss but struck out three to finish the season with 103 strikeouts, which is the third-best season total in the past 12 seasons.

Brannon Mandragon hit two home runs for Palm Beach State College, driving in three runs.

The Titans finished the season 18-26 overall and 6-13 in the Southern Conference.

It also marked head coach Jason Arnold’s final game as he decided to leave following the season. Arnold finishes his Titans career with 61 wins in three seasons.
