BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – National Hurricane Center has upgraded Tropical Depression Four to Tropical Storm Danny on Monday.

Danny is expected to make landfall near Folly Beach tonight.

The system is moving to the west-northwest at 16 mph. Max sustained winds have registered at 35 mph.

Port Royal Sound to the South Santee River in South Carolina are expected to see storm surge reach between 1-3 feet.

Experts at the National Hurricane Center are expecting Tropical Storm Danny to weaken rapidly after landfall.

Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for Edisto Beach to South Santee River South Carolina.
