The Space Coast Daily–Friday Night Locker Room 2021 Brevard County High School Football Top 5 Power Rankings have been released after week 4.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA  – The Space Coast Daily–Friday Night Locker Room 2021 Brevard County High School Football Top 5 Power Rankings have been released after week 4 of action.

The Palm Bay Pirates are out of the top five after a tough 44-12 loss to Merritt Island. The Viera Hawks (2-1) climb into the top five after a dominating 44-6 win at East River.

The rankings are comprised of a 15-member committee in Brevard County and averaged out by each committee member’s weekly Top 5 rankings list.

1. COCOA TIGERS (2-1)

The Cocoa Tigers were put to the test early in the season with three tough matchups against teams such as Vero Beach, Osceola, and Venice. Cocoa managed to win two out of three games heading into their week 4 bye. (Anthony Pelt image)

Not much movement here considering Cocoa had a bye week this past Friday. The Tigers will host Treasure Coast on Friday Live on Space Coast Daily TV.

The Cocoa Tigers were put to the test early in the season with three tough matchups against teams such as Vero Beach, Osceola, and Venice. Cocoa managed to win two out of three games heading into their week 4 bye.

Every one of Cocoa’s games this season have been decided by one point in three games. The Tigers clearly have the best wins (Vero Beach, Osceola) of any Brevard County team thus far.

2. ROCKLEDGE RAIDERS (4-0)

Rockledge starts the season with a statement victory against the Viera Hawks on their home turf and put up a shutout victory against the Eau Gallie commodore in week 3.

Rockledge caps off an impressive 31-7 victory on Friday against the Bayside Bears.

The Raiders will have the chance to prove they should be in consideration for the top spot if they manage to pull off a victory against a tough Deerfield Beach team, the No. 15 rated team in the state of Florida, according to MaxPreps.

3. MERRITT ISLAND (4-0)

Throughout four games, Merritt Island has outscored their opponents by a whopping 125-18.  The way the Mustangs have been able to dominate and outperform their opponents this season keeps them in the top three through four weeks.

4. SATELLITE (4-0)

Satellite Scorps remain undefeated after blowing out Titusville 44-6 last week.

Scorpions will be heading into an easy matchup against Weeki Wachee who is still looking to get their first win of the season.

After this week’s matchup Satellite will have four straight matchups against tough opponents such as Bayside, Rockledge, Merritt Island, and Palm Bay.

5. VIERA HAWKS (2-1)

Having played fewer games than everyone else, it’ll take some more competition to really see how serious this Viera team stands considering all the talent on this roster.

Viera will host the Eau Gallie Commodores this Friday.
