BREAKING: Titusville Police Report One Man Dead After Fiery Experimental Aircraft Crash

No other injuries have been reported

Titusville police responded to a report of a fatal plane crash at the Space Coast Regional Airport at about 4 p.m. Thursday. “The preliminary investigation revealed a small experimental style airplane crashed near the runway and became engulfed in flames,” said Titusville police spokesperson Amy Matthews.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville police responded to a report of a fatal plane crash at the Space Coast Regional Airport at about 4 p.m. Thursday.

The airport is located at 355 Golden Knights Boulevard.

“The preliminary investigation revealed a small experimental style airplane crashed near the runway and became engulfed in flames,” said Titusville police spokesperson Amy Matthews.

“The adult male pilot, who was the sole occupant, was deceased at the scene.”

The Federal Aviation Administration has been notified and Titusville Police are assisting with the investigation.

Titusville police officials confirm no one on the ground was injured.

This crash remains under investigation and further details will be released upon its conclusion.
