WATCH REPLAY: It is official! The much anticipated grand opening for the new Crydermans Meat Market at 405 Florida Avenue took place Saturday.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – It is official! The grand opening for the Crydermans Meat Market is set for Saturday at 12  noon.

This event is free to the public – come out and have some fun as we welcome the community to a fun-filled afternoon of all things meat market!

Activities throughout Saturday afternoon:

■ Ribbon cutting ceremony at 12:30 p.m. held by the Cocoa Beach Chamber of Commerce.
■ Live cooking and sampling from our partners PK Grills and Jealous Devil Charcoal.
■ Complimentary wine tasting featuring some of the exclusive wines to be sold at the market.
■ Cody of Monahan Mural Company will be live painting an 8′ x 8′ canvas which will be auctioned/sold.
■ Announcement of the winner of the “NAME THE BULL” contest.
■ Three raffle packages with a Grand Prize ‘PK Grill package’ valued at over $600.
■ Vendors and Partners will have booths to educate the community on some of the wonderful products we will be carrying at the Meat Market.

Crydermans Barbecue was founded in 2017 and is a great destination for barbecue that’s both high in quality and rooted in tradition using simple ingredients that produce BIG flavor.

It has been a whirlwind of barbecue for owners Amy and Chad Cryderman, who had done extensive research into the subtle points of the cuisine (translation: eaten a lot of different barbecues across the country) before opening their barbecue joint in 2017 on the site of a former gas station in Cocoa Village.

South Brevard residents are also singing Cryderman’s praises after the restaurant has opened a second location in Melbourne in 2019.

The hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday, 11 am to 6:30 p.m.
