BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Renzetti, Inc., a precision machining company world-renowned for its fly-fishing vise grips, has announced plans to expand its Titusville-based company with a 20,000 sq. ft. addition to its manufacturing facility.

The expansion project is expected to cost $2 million; a financial inducement for the project was provided by the North Brevard Economic Development Zone (NBEDZ).

Renzetti employs more than 20 people; with the expansion, it projects adding three-to-five more positions.

The company began operations in the 1970s inside a Pennsylvania garage, before relocating to Titusville’s Spaceport Commerce Park in the 1990s.

As the sport of fly fishing, an angling method that uses artificial bait to catch fish, especially stream trout, it has become a key part of recreational fishing, which – according to Sportfishing magazine – now generates more than $48 billion in retail sales and produces a $115 billion multiplier impact on the nation’s economy.

The recreational fishing industry is also responsible for 800,000 jobs.
