Cocoa Man Arrested After String of Several Vehicle Burglaries in Cocoa Beach

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – A Cocoa man has been arrested for a recent string of vehicle burglaries in the area in Cocoa Beach.

Dakota Bradley, 21, of Cocoa, was arrested by Cocoa Beach Police for his alleged involvement in at least one of several recent vehicle burglaries.

On Friday, July 15, Cocoa Beach Police received reports of unlocked vehicles burglarized on Bahama Blvd., Antigua Dr., and Esther Dr. Sergeant Tom Cooper and Detective David Ortiz tracked a stolen item from a victim’s vehicle to a general location in Cocoa.

Further investigation determined that an occupant of a home in this area matched the description of one of the suspects captured on surveillance video burglarizing the vehicle.

Detective Joe Smith prepared a search warrant for the home and our investigators recovered the stolen item in question and a firearm.

Bradley was taken into custody, charged with Burglary and Theft, and transported to the county jail.
