Eastern Florida State College Men’s Soccer Program 2022 Schedule Announced

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s soccer team has announced the 2022 schedule with seven regular season home matches.

■ The Titans will open the season with three exhibition matches to prepare for the regular season. The men’s soccer team will host Webber University on Aug. 10, then play at Florida Tech Saturday, Aug. 13 before hosting Florida Southern on Aug. 16 before the start of the regular season.

■ The men’s soccer team will host Salt Lake Community College in the home opener on Aug. 20 at 8 p.m. at Orlando Health Stadium on the Melbourne campus. Salt Lake lost in the national tournament semifinals last season, finishing with a 16-1-1 record. The Bruins won a national title in 2020-21.

■ The team will then hit the road, traveling to Nevada to play the College of Southern Nevada on Aug. 26.

■ September will see the Titans home for four games and will play two more games at Daytona State College. It will also be a challenging month of games for the team as they will host Johnson University on Sept. 1 before playing USC Lancaster on Sept. 4 at Daytona State College.

■ Then on Sept. 9, the team will host Harcum College which finished last season ranked 17th in the country. Harcum was 11-1 last season but did not make it to the national tournament.

■ Then the Titans will host Daytona State College in the first of three meetings for the Region 8 title. The Falcons went to the national tournament last season and were ranked eighth in the final poll of last season. The first game will begin at 7 p.m. on Sept. 14.

■ The Titans will then go to Daytona State College to play Monroe College on Sept. 20 for a 7 p.m. game. It will be the third time the two teams have met in the past three years with the Mustangs winning two of the past three.

■ After a home game with Victory Rock Prep Academy on Sept. 24, the Titans will hit the road for five straight games. The Titans will travel to Wyoming for two games, facing Laramie County Community College on Sept. 30 and then playing Casper College on Oct. 2. Laramie County was fourth in the final NJCAA poll and played in the national tournament, falling in pool play. It will be the third time the two teams have met in the past three years with the Titans winning the past two. Casper College went 10-6-1 last season.

■ The men will then be in South Carolina to play USC Sumter on Oct. 7 and then USC Lancaster on Oct. 9 in Sumter. USC Sumter finished 8-6-1 last season, while USC Lancaster was 12-2-1 last season but lost in the Region X Championship game.

■ The Titans will wrap up the regular season with two matches against Daytona State College, the first at Daytona State College on Oct. 22 and then the final game of the regular season will be against Daytona State on Oct. 29.

Home games are at Orlando Health Stadium on the Melbourne campus and are free of charge.
