BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX successfully launched 29 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit early Tuesday morning aboard a Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
Liftoff occurred at 5:09 a.m. EDT, lighting up the predawn skies along Florida’s Space Coast as the mission marked another expansion of the company’s Starlink high-speed internet constellation.
The mission utilized a veteran Falcon 9 first-stage booster making its 28th flight. The booster has previously supported several high-profile missions, including Ax-2, Euclid, Ax-3, CRS-30, SES ASTRA 1P, NG-21, and 21 previous Starlink launches.
A few minutes after launch, the first stage separated from the rocket’s upper stage and completed a successful landing aboard the A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
