BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Three members of the Eastern Florida State College women’s golf team were named to the Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Team on Tuesday.

Jasmine Yang, Olivia Timpy, and Gabrielle Fernandez were among the 1,485 women’s collegiate golfers recognized with this prestigious honor.

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team is a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 and encompasses all levels of college golf.

Fernandez had a 4.0-grade point average this season while Timpy finished with a 3.70 and Yang had a 3.69.

The trio was also part of a historic season for the women’s golf program, qualifying for the NJCAA Division I National Tournament for the first time in school history.
