Bone Thugs-n-Harmony is an American band of five rappers. They have been active on the music scene since 1993, with a few breaks and eventually coming back all together for festivals and live concerts in 2022.

When they were young and not-so-popular, they wanted to sign up for Eazy-E’s record label so badly. Bone Thugs-n-Harmony used every connection they had to convince him to sign a deal, and it seems it was the best decision Eazy-E made in his life.

All the members of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony are somehow related, except one of them, who was a childhood friend. But, we all know that according to hip-hop culture, long-term friends are considered a family, so here we are, writing about the Bone Thugs n Harmony tour and them being together as in the 90s.

If you don’t know the members of this legendary band, it’s time to meet them one by one.

1. Krayzie Bone

Krayzie Bone is one of the well-known members of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. His personal beliefs are interesting since he is a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses and believes all the rapers are part of the Illuminati agenda.

He left the band several times, trying to embrace a solo career. During that time, he collaborated with many artists, including Chamillionaire and Mariah Karey.

The band came back together recently, but members still work on their solo projects and labels.

2. Bizzy Bone

Bizzy Bone is the youngest in the Bone Thugs-n-Harmony and is also known as Lil’ Ripsta.

When he was a child, he was abducted by his mom’s boyfriend, who held him and his two sisters captive for two years. They all believed their mom died until a babysitter recognized the kids from TV. The family was finally reunited.

He is the only one who is not related to the Bone guys by blood, but they accepted him as a brother, forming the band Bone Enterpri$e.

At some point, he also embraced a solo career that resulted in a few collaborations with popular artists. Also, he runs a family YouTube channel together with his wife JCass.

3. Layzie Bone

Layzie, whose real name is Steven, is known as L-Burna and The #1 Assassin. He gained world popularity being a member of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, together with his brother Flesh-n-Bone. Today Layzie owns the label Harmony Howse Entertainment.

He left the band and came back a few times. Right now, the guys are together again, so they can take the stage at a few festivals, but they scheduled some concerts too.

In 2020 he released the studio album “Wanted Dead or Live,” featuring his bandmates Krayzie and Flesh-n-Bone, but also Dame Dolla, Stew Deez, Maybach Dice, Ken Dawg, and many others.

4. Flesh-n-Bone

Flesh-n-Bone is one of the most problematic members of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. He is a talented rapper and hip-hop artist, but it seems like he loved weapons and conflicts more than his music career.

In 1998 he was arrested while having a fully-loaded shotgun after he refused to leave a relative’s home when asked to do that. Flesh was again charged with a violation when he attacked the neighbor who complained about the loud music. He was involved in a few similar incidents, pulling out his gun more often than needed.

In 2000 he was sentenced to prison, even though he apologized and pleaded guilty. He spent 12 years in prison and was forced to go to therapy to manage his anger.

Flesh-n-Bone was released in 2008, and he immediately reunited with the bandmates as they recorded the new album “Uni5: The World’s Enemy.”

He had another weapon incident, but the Court immediately dropped the charges due to evidence for self-defense, and the case was dismissed.

More than a decade later, it seems like he finally has control over his anger and public behavior since the last case against him dates back to 2010.

5. Wish Bone

Wish Bone is the cousin of the Bone brothers, but as we said, in the rap culture, they are close enough to embrace him as the closest family member.

One of the best-known anecdotes related to Wish Bone is that he was shot while they were trying to rob a Japanese rapper. The audience wasn’t aware of this, but Bizzy decided to talk about it in 2019.

We all know that the beginnings weren’t bright for the Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, and they struggled for money. While they were committing a robbery, Krayzie accidentally shot Wish Bone and, as a matter of fact, served his prison time for that. Wish tried to clean the wound himself, but he needed to go to the hospital. The mates couldn’t hide the fact they robbed someone, and that resulted in Krayzie accidentally firing a shot and hurting Wish Bone.

We must confess that Bone Thugs-n-Harmony have an interesting history of incidents and conflicts, but they are still all about brotherhood and hip-hop even today.
