Melbourne Woman Rescued by Her Twin Daughters After Being Attacked by Her Boyfriend

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police are investigating an incident that involved a woman being attacked by her boyfriend at the Manatee Cove Apartments.

Melbourne Police Officers responded to 780 Caroline St. in reference to a disturbance on Tuesday September 13, around 1:21 p.m.

When MPD officers arrived, they were met by the victim, Misheara Hill, who stated her boyfriend had just attacked her at the residence.

As the suspect, Andrew Williams Jr., became entangled with Hill, he was unexpectedly surprised when Hill’s twin 6-year-old daughters came to her rescue.

The little heroes grabbed toys, sticks, and a hair dryer and began to fend off Williams to protect their mother. With the help of the girls, Hill was able to retreat to a bathroom for safety.

Williams would flee the scene, only to be apprehended shortly after by law enforcement. During the arrest, officers located drugs on Williams’ person.

Williams was booked at the Melbourne Police Department before being transferred into the custody of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.
