Authorities Arrest Woman in June 2022 Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash in Brevard County

Florida Highway Patrol announced on Tuesday that they had a warrant issued for the driver in the fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred on June 3, 2022 on State Road 520 (Merritt Island Causeway) in Brevard County.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol announced on Tuesday that they issued a warrant for the driver in the fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred on June 3, 2022 on State Road 520 (Merritt Island Causeway) in Brevard County.

Authorities arrested 35-year-old Anabel Morales from Orlando.

The victim in this crash was 56-year-old Stephan Morf who was pronounced deceased on-scene.

The following charges were issued in the Warrant Affidavit:

– Leaving the Scene involving Death (F.S.S 316.027(2)(C)
– Tampering with Evidence (F.S.S 918.13(1)(A)

Anabel Morales was taken into custody for the warrant yesterday and booked into the Orange County Jail.
