Brevard County Fire Honors Personnel, Community Responder with Sudden Cardiac Arrest Recognition Ceremony

Brevard County Fire Rescue hosted a Sudden Cardiac Arrest Recognition Ceremony Wednesday morning to honor BCFR personnel, as well as community responder Matthew Dolente. (BCFR image)

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue hosted a Sudden Cardiac Arrest Recognition Ceremony Wednesday morning to honor BCFR personnel, as well as community responder Matthew Dolente.

On February 22, 2022, Brevard County Fire Rescue units responded to a medical emergency involving a High School Athletic Coach who went into Sudden Cardiac Arrest during a practice game.

During the ceremony, the survivor was reunited with the first responders who saved his life.
