Over 100,000 Voters in Brevard County Cast Ballots Through Mail, Early Voting

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – With Election Day only a week away, early voting numbers in Brevard County show voting numbers are down from recent years despite a growing number of registered voters.
According to the Supervisor of Elections Brevard County, voter turnout is at 23.57% with 108,507 ballots cast as Tuesday afternoon.
Brevard County currently has 460,372 active registered voters.
Out of the 108,421 ballots cast, Supervisor of Elections Brevard County shows 51,059 ballots cast were by registered republicans, while 36,833 ballots were cast by democrats. Non-party affiliation voters cast 18,637 ballots.
PREVIOUS ELECTIONS
For comparison, the last mid-term election (2018) early voting was nearly 40-percent (166,221) of 424,092 registered voters cast their ballots a day before Election Day in the 2018 General Elections in Brevard County.
In 2020, voter turnout was at 52.64% with 238,029 ballots cast six days before Election Day in 2020.
Brevard County had 452,160 active registered voters in 2020.
In 2020, out of the 238,029 ballots cast, Supervisor of Elections Brevard County showed 104,867 ballots cast were by registered republicans, while 82,845 ballots were cast by democrats. Non-party affiliation voters cast 46,310 ballots.
