Eastern Florida State College Baseball Releases Spring Schedule, Includes 25 Home Games

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College baseball team has released the spring schedule with 25 home games on the schedule.
The Titans, who were 25-25-1 last season, will be playing almost half of their games against teams that were ranked last year in the NJCAA Division I poll.
The team will open the season in Sarasota against Northwest Florida State College on Jan. 27. The Titans will then play Gulf Coast State College on Jan. 28 as the team will play six games on the road before the home opener on Feb. 6.
The home opener will be against the College of Central Florida at 4 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 6. It will be the first of three home games as the Titans will also host Palm Beach State College and Hillsborough Community College that week.
The Titans will play 21 games before opening the Southern Conference schedule with a series against the defending conference champions, Miami Dade College on March 8-11.
Miami Dade and Florida Southwestern as well as Indian River State College make up the Southern Conference as both Miami Dade and Florida Southwestern finished last season ranked in the top 20 in the nation.
The Titans will wrap up the regular season with home games against Miami Dade on April 19, then host Indian River State College on April 21 before traveling to Florida Southwestern on April 22.
The top teams in each conference will play in the regional tournament May 5-8 with a chance to advance to the championship round Maty 12-15 at Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland.
