BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – On Monday, I was honored to stand with Florida House Speaker Paul Renner and other members of the Florida House and Senate as we announced the filing of a new Florida Bill that will make “Constitutional Carry” legal in the state of Florida.

It was an honor to speak during the announcement in support of the bill, that when passed into law will allow lawful gun owners in the state of Florida to carry concealed, without needing a Concealed Carry Permit and without paying a fee.

Those who would like to still obtain a Concealed Carry Permit can do so even after the bill becomes law.

In addition, the bill also does not change who can and cannot carry a firearm in the state of Florida and when it becomes effective, it will make Florida the 26 state to have a constitutional carry or permitless carry law.

It was an honor to stand during the announcement with Sheriffs from across the state of Florida who are in full support of the measure as this past week, the Florida Sheriff’s Association overwhelmingly voted to stand in support of the bill!!

A huge “thank you” to Speaker Paul Renner, Representative Chuck Brannan and Senator Jay Collins for all they are doing to protect the rights and freedoms of Florida’s citizens!
