Eastern Florida State College Seeking Participants for the ‘Growing with the Arts’ Show at Titusville Campus

Eastern Florida State College’s Titusville Campus is hosting its spring art show, “Growing with the Arts,” and is calling for submissions from EFSC students, faculty, staff, and Brevard County residents. (EFSC image)

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College’s Titusville Campus is hosting its spring art show, “Growing with the Arts,” calling for submissions from EFSC students, faculty, staff, and Brevard County residents.

Entry is free, and art categories include drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, and digital art. All entries must be original artwork.

Submissions must be dropped off at the Titusville Campus library front desk no later than Wednesday, April 5, at 5 p.m.

Artists may submit up to three works, and submissions may be in different categories. Artwork will be judged based on originality and mastery of the medium used.

The children’s age group is up to 13 years old, and the adult age group is 14 years old and up. Children’s artwork must be mounted on black foam board, matte board, or poster board.

Adult submissions must be display-ready (framed, matted, or wired for two-dimensional pieces). Two-dimensional artwork must not exceed 10 pounds.

An opening night reception will be held on Wednesday, April 12, from 6-8 p.m. in the EFSC Titusville Campus Library (Bldg. 5).

Following the reception, the artwork will be displayed through May 4 during the Library’s hours, Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. After the show ends, participants will have a week to pick up their art.
