Lucky Leprechaun 5K Run/Walk Set March 4 in Cocoa Beach, Will Benefit Cocoa Beach High Project Graduation

Irish music and food, face painting, and a post-race beer for runners 21 and older

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — A Cocoa Beach 5K road race for runners and walkers through residential Cocoa Isles and a free Kid’s Fun Run of 1/4 mile. 

Proceeds and donations from this event will benefit Cocoa Beach Jr./Sr. High School’s Project Graduation, which is a safe, alcohol-free post-graduation event for our seniors.

The Lucky Leprechaun 5k will feature Irish music and food, face painting, and a post-race beer for runners 21 and older. The race will start and end in front of Johnathan’s Pub and is open to runners and walkers.

■ Awards for overall winners as well as age group winners!

■ Cocoa Beach Health & Fitness on Friday, March 3, from 4-8 pm,1355 N. Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach.

■ Race Day, Saturday, March 4, from 6:30-7:30 am.

■ Start and Finish at Johnathan’s Pub, located at 140 North Brevard Avenue, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931

DAY OF EVENT SCHEDULE

■ 6:30 a.m. – Packet Pick Up

■ 7:30 a.m. – Race Day Registration closes

■ 8 a.m. – Race Start

■ 9 a.m. – Kids Fun Run

■ 9:15 am – Awards

■ Top Female and Male Masters (40+)
■ Top 3 male and female age groups will receive awards. Age groups include 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

TIMING & SCORING

■ This is a chip-timed event where all participants receive a chip that is attached to the back of the bib.
