Titusville YMCA to Host Free Event for Healthy Kids Day on April 29

designed to inspire creativity, awaken imaginations and encourage kids to stay active

BREVARD COUNTY, TITUSVILLE • FLORIDA – The Titusville YMCA, located at 2400 Harrison Street, is hosting a free event for Healthy Kids Day on April 29 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This free event is open to the community that’s designed to inspire kids’ creativity, awaken their imaginations, and encourage them to stay active.

You still have time to register before April 29 and receive a $10 Program Credit for programs such as swim lessons, Youth Sports, and more.

Healthy Kids Day is the Y’s national initiative to improve the health and well-being of kids and families. Their goal is to get kids moving and learning, creating healthy habits that they can continue all throughout the year, but especially during the summer.

Research shows that without access to out-of-school activities in the summer months, kids can fall behind academically and may also gain weight twice as fast.

Following a year filled with numerous changes and uncertainty, Healthy Kids Day is a reminder to families that we can help ensure all children have access to the key ingredients to reach their full potential, even during out-of-school time.
