Two People Hospitalized After Semi-Truck Crash Causes Diesel Fuel Leak on I-95 in Brevard County

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue units responded to a vehicle crash involving a semi-trailer that hospitalized two people on Interstate 95 early Thursday morning.

“One trauma-alert patient was extricated and transported by Health First Flight and one patient was transported by Coastal Health,” said Brevard County Fire spokesperson.

Reports suggest an active diesel fuel leak was mitigated by HAZMAT 48.

The scene was turned over to the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to officials, Engine & Rescue 44, District 45, Tower 48, Squad 48, HAZMAT 48, Coastal Health Systems, and Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene.
