MESS AROUND AND FIND OUT: Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Arrest Repeat Offender for Animal Cruelty Charges

Osteen Jr. is currently being held with no bond

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Sheriff’s Office arrested John Osteen Jr. in the latest edition of “Mess Around and Find Out.”

Osteen Jr. is charged with one count of felony animal cruelty and resisting arrest without violence.

According to reports he also had multiple warrants out for his arrest for the following charges:

■ Fleeing and eluding

■ Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

■ Possession of ammunition by a convicted felon

■ Reckless driving

■ Driving while license revoked

■ Failure to register a motor vehicle

Osteen Jr. is currently being held with no bond.

“If you run away from us you are going to jail, if you have 13 previous felony convictions and a gun you are going to jail with no bond, and if you hurt a helpless animal you get walked into the jail by the Sheriff himself!” said Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey.

“Hope you like ‘Ivey’s Iron Bar Lodge’ but I guarantee you won’t.”
