BREVARD COUNTY • FLORIDA — SpaceX successfully launched its Falcon 9 rocket early Monday morning, sending the Dragon spacecraft on its 32nd Commercial Resupply Services (CRS-32) mission to the International Space Station.
Liftoff occurred at 4:15 a.m. ET from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. Approximately eight minutes after launch, the Falcon 9’s first stage booster completed a precise landing at Landing Zone 1 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
The Dragon spacecraft, making its fifth mission to the orbiting laboratory, previously supported CRS-22, CRS-24, CRS-27, and CRS-30. It is expected to autonomously dock with the space station around 8:20 a.m. ET on Tuesday, April 22, following a roughly 28-hour journey.
The booster used for Monday’s flight had previously launched the NROL-69 mission and a Starlink payload. Monday’s launch and landing mark another milestone in SpaceX’s ongoing efforts to reuse hardware in support of NASA’s space station operations.
