BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people for possession illegal drugs late Friday night on A1A near Satellite Beach.

The suspects are identified as Robby Allen Kern and Kimberly Jenelle Baum.

While most people think “BOGO” stands for “Buy One Get One,” in our world it stands for “Book One Get One” and that’s exactly what Deputies Campagnone and Spikes did last night “While You Were Sleeping” when they conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and ended up arresting both of the occupants.

As Deputies Campagnone and Spikes conducted the traffic stop on A1A near Satellite Beach they identified the driver as Robby Allen Kern who had an active Felony Warrant for Violating Pretrial Release Reference Possession of Cocaine and Methamphetamine.

To make matters worse and to clearly demonstrate that birds of a feather flock together, our Deputies subsequently discovered that Kern’s passenger in the vehicle, Kimberly Jenelle Baum was in possession of Methamphetamine, Heroin, and of course drug paraphernalia.

Baum actually had in her possession approximately 2 grams of Meth, 2.7 grams of Heroin, and also straws and a spoon with drug residue on them.

Of course the possession of the items earned Baum a free ride along with her friend Kern, to “Ivey’s Iron Bar Lodge” where she was booked for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Heroin, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Kern was held at the Brevard County Jail on a $5,000.00 bond and Baum was detained on a total bond of $4,500.

“While You Were Sleeping” Deputies Campagnone and Spikes were out taking criminals off our streets and putting them behind bars at the Iron bar Lodge. And of course, getting a BOGO was a bonus as we saved the taxpayers money on gas by being able to transport both of them at the same time.

Great Job Campagnone and Spikes.
