BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Space Shuttle Atlantis Exhibit Celebrated 10 Years at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. The Friday Night Locker Room’s Steve Wilson and Terry Spain were on hand for the celebration and had the opportunity to talk with six veteran NASA astronauts:

■ Richard “Mike” Mullane (STS-41-D, STS-27, STS-36, STS-62-A)

■ Anna Fisher (STS-51-A)

■ William “Bill” Shepard (STS-27 and U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame member)

■ Guy Gardner (STS-27, STS-35, STS-62-A)

■ Mike Baker (STS-81, STS-52, STS-68, STS-43)

■ Chris Ferguson (STS-135, STS-126, STS-115, Boeing Crewed Flight Test, STS-400, U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame member)

According to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex website, “Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is organized into Mission Zones where attractions and tours are grouped by chronological era.

From the dawn of space exploration to current and ongoing missions, you can get an up-close, hands-on feel for the story of humans in space.”
