Military Officers Association of America Cape Canaveral Chapter Awards $60,000 in Scholarships to 12 Students

Each student received a $5,000 scholarship

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Military Officers Association of America, Cape Canaveral Chapter, recently held its 40th Annual Scholarship Awards Luncheon at the Indian River Colony Club in Melbourne.
This year 12 recipients, all college juniors, seniors, graduate students, and descendants of area military veterans, were selected. Each received a $5,000 scholarship, for a total of $60,000 in awards.
The MOAACC Scholarship Corporation was established in 1984, beginning with a $1,000 award. To date, 284 students have received MOAACC Scholarships with a total dollar value of $860,000.
MOAACC Scholarships are primarily funded through the generous contributions of chapter members over the years.
MOAACC 2023-24 Scholarship Recipients includes Kelsey Kressler, Embry-Riddle University; Paula Biggs, University of Maryland; Ian Vogt, University for Peace (Costa Rico); Meagan McIntyre, University of West Georgia; Megan Lee, University of Florida; Patrick Baney, LeTourneau University; Miles Brinkley, Vanderbilt University; Elena Fentress, University of Florida; Andrew Lim, San Diego State University; Jaelyn Mitchell, Howard University; Megan Murphy, University of North Florida; and Natalie Timm, Florida State University.
