BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The book is called “No More Bad Days.” It is Gary Miracle’s story, and it promises to be a special read. I recently had the opportunity to sit down with Gary at the Space Coast Daily–Friday Night Locker Room Erdman Automotive Studios in Cocoa, and talk about the book, his faith, his family, and much more.
If you are not familiar with Gary’s story, prior to January 2020, he looked as normal as you and me. However, in December 2019, after a sudden illness, he entered the hospital; 107 days later he was discharged. Gary was now a quadruple amputee, having lost all four limbs.
I asked Gary how, after all he faced, he did not give up. He said, “I was blessed to grow up in the church. My family is an incredible family. I am honored to say that my sister still lives here in Rockledge, and she is one of my best friends. My parents are still lovingly together and married. We just had a great family foursome growing up and I had that foundation of faith growing up.”
Family and faith are incredibly important to Gary. He has a tremendous amount of support from his lovely family, which includes his wife, Jenna, and their seven children, Walter Miracle, Henry Miracle, Asher Miracle, Johana Miracle, Joseph Buzzo, Abigail Buzzo, and Isabella Buzzo.
Gary uses his faith in Christ to help him continue to move forward and make a difference. And make a difference, he does. Gary has traveled the country speaking to church groups and other organizations.
I asked Gary if he enjoys speaking and he said, “I love just being able to talk. If something, or a part of my story, can motivate you or encourage you to make you think about Jesus, or to look to Jesus for the first time, or for the 100th time, then that means my story is not going to go in vain.” He continued, “And that’s why I want to talk. That’s why I want to speak.”
When Gary Miracle speaks, we all should listen. His words are too important to ignore.
There is no doubt that for those that read it, his book, “No More Bad Days,” will have a positive impact.
The book can now be pre-ordered at garymiracle.com.
