Todd Pokrywa Leads Team Viera at Princess Margaret Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer Tournament in Toronto

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Todd Pokrywa, the philanthropic president of The Viera Company in Brevard County on Florida’s Space Coast, recently returned from the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer tournament in his hometown of Toronto, Canada.
“Team Viera raised nearly $30,000, which placed it in the top 25 fundraising teams with a world record $3.15 million raised from the event benefiting the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre – one of the top five cancer research centers in the world,” said Pokrywa.
As a top individual fundraiser, Pokrywa also played in the Celebrities vs. Top Fundraisers game, which involved National Hockey League Alumni, former Olympians and Women’s Professional Hockey Players.

“I was proud and honored to play on Team Viera alongside Steve Kanellakis, Stewart Busbridge, Jillian Moffatt, David Trombley, Vel Omazik, Len Fragomeni, Claude Parrell, Patrick Kerr, Dave Ayres and Jorden Connor,” said Pokrywa. “This was a special group of people that I hope to reunite with next year.”
“Great players, and even better people, came together for an important cause benefiting one of the top five cancer centers in the world,” said Pokrywa.
“I am grateful to all of my teammates, as well as our sponsors and supporters, that made this exceptional experience possible.”
